Undoubtedly, globalization creates a homogenized worldwide culture and destroys local traditions and regional distinctions. Human experience is in jeorpady of becoming the same. Examples:

As far as economic growth is concerned, for large corporations, globalization is definitely the highway for expansion in foreign markets. Small businesse also seem to benefit from e-commerce, though on a tiny scale. Yet,

On balance, when it comes to the challenge to cultural identities, globalism is unlikely to permanently homogenize regional, local, or national characteristics and habits, but as far as world economic well-being is concerned, it is naïve to praise global international trade and commerce as the panacea for healing the gravest diseases of mankind-poverty, illiteracy, wars, crime.
