Advanced-level course | |
lidaThis course is intended to boost the general linguistic competence of the advanced-level student across the four skills-reading, writing, listening, speaking. Above all, we are dedicated to enhancing the communicative skills of the students.
The method of teaching is the communicative approach. The teacher is never the sage on the stage. We always try to develop self-confidence, critical thinking, and cultural awareness in our students. Thus, the aim of the course is not just to provide the fundamentals of traditional grammar, but also to enculturate and uplift learners. An independent educator guarantees that standards are never compromised.
By the end of the course the student will have mastered the following skills:

I can express myself in clear, well-structured text, expressing points of view at some length. I can write about complex subjects in a letter, an essay or a report, underlining what I consider to be the salient issues. I can select style appropriate to the reader in mind. |
